A digital media specialist and international advisor on digital inclusion and Internet governance. R&D related to: digital divide, digital literacy, ICTs for development, web publishing, collaborative Web projects and platforms.
Danica has multicultural background; she worked for the United Nations as Information management specialist on UN project on technology, web, and science. She was lecturer at School of Web Journalism, supported by Rising Voices, Berkman Center; also at the Wikimedia, Library of Congress – Washington DC, Geisel – USCD, San Diego, among several other similar positions.
Danica is Alumna of UNC-SILS at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and was a PhD Chevening Scholar of University of Oxford, Oxford Internet Institute.
